Pa. Environmental Sec'y Calls NRDC Fracking Report Flawed

Law360, New York (June 25, 2012, 7:39 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania’s environmental secretary on Monday ripped into a Natural Resources Defense Council report calling for tighter regulations on wastewater from hydraulic fracturing, criticizing it as inaccurate and defending the state’s rules for natural gas development.

“The report is incorrect and inapplicable to Pennsylvania in many respects,” Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Michael Krancer told the NRDC in a letter.
