Exxon, Oil Cos. Can't Bar Witnesses In $786M Pipeline Row

Law360, New York (June 26, 2012, 3:40 PM ET) -- ExxonMobil Pipeline Co., ConocoPhillips Transportation Alaska Inc., and three other owners of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline lost a bid Thursday to bar ratepayer testimony on the pipeline's projected lifespan from Federal Energy Regulatory Commission proceedings over a $786 million reconfiguration project.

Two presiding administrative law judges for the proceedings ordered that testimony from ratepayers Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and Tesoro Corp. be heard, rejecting arguments by the pipeline's owners that the witnesses' testimony on the line's shelf life shouldn't be allowed because it came from improperly compiled data. ...
