KKR Closes $4B Infrastructure, Natural Resources Funds

Law360, New York (June 26, 2012, 3:25 PM EDT) -- New York-based private equity giant Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP has closed separate, energy-focused natural resources and infrastructure funds with a combined $4 billion in capital commitments, KKR said Tuesday.

The firm said that its infrastructure fund had a final close of roughly $1.1 billion in assets, which will complement the $1.3 billion in existing assets under management in KKR's infrastructure-related separate accounts.
