Vale, Pacific Hydro Team Up On $315M Wind Farm Project

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 6:30 PM EDT) -- Australian clean energy developer Pacific Hydro Pty. will build two wind farms totaling 650 million reais ($315 million) in Brazil to meet growing power demand from iron ore giant Vale SA, it said Monday.

Vale and Pacific Hydro will jointly own the projects, which will total 140 megawatts and will help power Vale's mining operations in the northeastern state of Rio Grande do Norte.
