Madoff's Brother Agrees To Forfeit $143B In Plea Deal

Law360, Chicago (June 27, 2012, 8:47 PM EDT) -- Peter Madoff, the brother of convicted Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff and the former chief compliance officer of his brother's investment firm, is expected to plead guilty Friday to conspiracy and false records charges under a deal that calls for the criminal forfeiture of $143.1 billion, prosecutors said Wednesday.
