Law360, New York (September 20, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Rembrandt Technologies LP has come up short in its bid for a stay in a transmitter manufacturer’s declaratory judgment suit over a patent covering digital television signals.
The patent-holding company sought a stay so that it could focus on its consolidated patent action over similar technology, but the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Thursday refused to put Florida-based Harris Corp.’s case on hold, citing the uncertainty over how long the multidistrict litigation would take.
