Publicis PR Workers Win Class Status In Equal Pay Suit

Law360, New York (July 02, 2012, 12:55 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge granted class certification Friday to a group of female public relations employees who allege that advertising firm Publicis Groupe SA paid them less than their male counterparts.

U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr. said because the group of former and current female workers at Publicis and its PR network MSL Group had presented enough evidence that women received less pay than men, they qualified to bring their claims against Publicis as a nationwide class.
