Ex-Interpublic Exec Seeks $380M Over Facebook Investment

Law360, New York (July 2, 2012, 9:52 PM EDT) -- The Interpublic Group of Cos. was hit Monday with a $380 million suit by one of its former executives accusing the advertising and marketing conglomerate of withholding compensation for a Facebook Inc. investment he claims he helped obtain.

In a complaint filed in New York state court, former Interpublic account executive Ray Volpe claimed the firm backed out on its agreement to pay him with the gains from its Facebook investment in 2006, which he claimed ultimately helped earn the company more than $380 million....
