McKesson Can't Duck Generic Darvocet Liability Claims

Law360, Los Angeles (July 2, 2012, 7:30 PM EDT) -- A Kentucky federal judge on Monday refused to dismiss multidistrict litigation against McKesson Corp. over injuries related to the use of generic versions of painkillers Darvocet and Darvon and remanded claims against the drug distributor to California state court.

U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves said the lawsuit asserts valid claims against San Francisco-based McKesson for its role in distributing the prescription pain medication propoxyphene to pharmacies in California.
