Strategic Capital Dodges $2M Fraudulent Transfer Suit

Law360, New York (July 03, 2012, 5:23 PM ET) -- A Texas federal judge on Monday dismissed a lawsuit alleging Strategic Capital Resources Inc. fraudulently transferred more than $2 million to avoid paying investment firm Fulcrum Credit Partners LLC in a contract dispute over claims against a bankrupt homebuilder, finding the case should not have been filed in Texas.

In an order dismissing Fulcrum's suit, U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel ruled that because the alleged efforts of Strategic Capital and its CEO David Miller to hide assets occurred in Florida, the court could not exercise jurisdiction...
