Former Bush Counsel Joins DLA Piper's Regulatory Practice

Law360, New York (July 5, 2012, 4:03 PM EDT) -- A former assistant counsel to President George H.W. Bush and Dickstein Shapiro LLP partner has joined DLA Piper's Washington office as a partner in its regulatory and government affairs and federal law and policy practices, the firm announced Thursday.

Mark Paoletta, who spent about five years at Dickstein Shapiro before departing to DLA Piper on Monday, focuses on representing clients facing congressional investigations and hearings, advising clients on developing strategies and goals, preparing witnesses, drafting testimony, crisis management and conducting internal corporate investigations.
