Qualcomm Calls Out Nokia's Patent Counterclaims

Law360, New York (September 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Combating Nokia Corp.'s counterclaims in an ongoing patent battle over cell phone technology, Qualcomm Inc. on Monday argued that it did not infringe on six Nokia patents and had been injured by Nokia's assertion of patents that were invalid or unenforceable.

In documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Qualcomm denied Nokia's allegations, saying that it was “without knowledge or information sufficient to form a belief as to the truth of the... allegations... and on that basis denies these allegations.”...
