Depomed Says Teva Unit Infringed Diabetes Patents

Law360, New York (September 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pharmaceutical company Depomed Inc. has asked a California court for summary judgment in a case accusing a Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. subsidiary of infringing two patents related to the diabetes drug metformin.

Depomed filed a corrected version of its motion for summary judgment on Tuesday, saying that Teva unit Ivax Corp. doesn't seem to be putting up a fight with respect to the infringement claims.
