High Court To Take On Race Retaliation Case

Law360, New York (September 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear an employment discrimination suit in a move to determine when a race retaliation claim can be brought under federal law.

The High Court granted certiorari on Tuesday to review a federal appeals court’s decision in a suit filed by a Cracker Barrel restaurant manager who claimed that he was terminated from his job after reporting that he was racially discriminated against by another manager.
