Judge Hands Alaris More Money In Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal district judge has awarded Alaris Medical Systems another $226,000 in its patent infringement case with ICU Medical Inc. over needle-free valves, bringing the total amount of damages granted to the former defendant to nearly $5 million.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge Mariana Pfaelzer entered a final judgment in the case, tacking on hundred of thousands of dollars as part of the “fees on fees” portion of Alaris' previous award, according to court documents.
