Ex-Ronald McDonald Exec Says Charity Retaliated Against Her

Law360, New York (July 16, 2012, 10:10 PM EDT) -- The former executive director of a New York-area chapter of Ronald McDonald House Charities has sued the chapter in New Jersey under a state whistleblower law, alleging she was fired after sounding alarms about government reporting failures.

Besides her claim under the New Jersey Conscientious Employees Protection Act, Mary Ruotolo also accuses Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Tri-State Area and its president, Diane Koury, of fraud for allegedly misrepresenting the job and the chapter's financial condition to bring her on board.
