5th Circ. Sinks $96M FCA Suit Against Northrop-Lockheed JV

Law360, New York (July 16, 2012, 7:13 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Monday affirmed the dismissal of a Lockheed Martin Corp. engineer's claims that Lockheed's joint venture with Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding Inc. put the nation's security at risk and cheated the federal government out of $96 million by supplying worthless vessels to the military.
