Feds Make Progress Recovering Expired Grants, GAO Says

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 9:38 PM EDT) -- Federal agencies are improving their management of federal grants, cutting down on a backlog of funds sitting in expired grant accounts that reached $1 billion in 2008, the U.S. Government Accountability Office told a Senate panel Wednesday.
