House To Follow Senate With Russia Trade Normalization Bill

Law360, New York (July 19, 2012, 8:34 PM EDT) -- Four members of the U.S. House of Representatives said Thursday that they will introduce legislation granting permanent normal trade relations with Russia and Moldova, which they said will likely mirror the bill passed by the U.S. Senate Finance Committee Wednesday.

As Russia prepares to enter the World Trade Organization, House Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich.; Rep. Sander Levin, D-Mich.; Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas; and Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., said they would review and mark up the Senate’s legislation next week.
