Dewey Extends Deadline For $104M Ex-Partner Deal

Law360, New York (July 19, 2012, 9:48 PM EDT) -- The deadline for the $104 million settlement offered to former Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP partners to shield them from future clawback litigation brought by the bankrupt firm's trustee was reportedly delayed Thursday after several partners voiced concerns about the deal.

In an email sent to former partners, the July 24 deadline to accept the settlement was extended until Aug. 7, and a July 26 meeting was set to explain the new terms of the deal, the Wall Street Journal reported.
