Maersk Verdict Should Stand, Transocean Tells Fed. Circ.

Law360, Washington (August 7, 2012, 8:32 PM EDT) -- Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling Inc. told the Federal Circuit on Tuesday that a lower court shouldn't have nixed a jury verdict in its drilling patent dispute with Maersk Contractors USA Inc., claiming its robust licensing market for the patents proved the jury correctly upheld its rights.
