'Modern Family' Cast Sues Fox After Salary Talks Hit Standstill

Law360, Los Angeles (July 24, 2012, 5:52 PM EDT) -- Cast members of the ABC comedy "Modern Family" sued producers 20th Century Fox Television on Tuesday seeking to void their contracts, as salary negotiations between the parties have reportedly ground to a halt.

The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles on behalf of cast members Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell, as well as their respective lender corporations.
