EEOC Sues Blockbuster, Alleging Harassment

Law360, New York (October 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit alleging that female Hispanic employees at a Maryland warehouse of video rental giant Blockbuster Inc. were subjected to sexual harassment and were fired for complaining about the treatment.

The suit, which was filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, said that male management of the warehouse in Gaithersburg condoned and participated in the harassment of mother and daughter Lolita and Dolores Gonzales.
