Dems Say 'No More Solyndras' Gives Pass To Nuclear Power

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 9:21 PM EDT) -- Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives' energy and power subcommittee accused their Republican colleagues on Wednesday of playing favorites by surreptitiously exempting nuclear projects from their plan to sunset the Obama administration's signature clean power loan programs.

“We know your agenda,” Rep. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., said during a three-hour session where lawmakers proposed amendments to the No More Solyndras Act before voting 14-6 — largely along party lines — to send the controversial draft to the full House Committee on Energy and Commerce....
