'FarmVille' Maker Hit With Patent Suit Over Cursor Use

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 5:35 PM EDT) -- Online advertising company Lexos Media Inc. slapped Zynga Inc., creator of social networking games "FarmVille" and "CityVille," with a patent suit on Tuesday in a Florida federal court, claiming Zynga is infringing its cursor modification technology.

Zynga is directly infringing Lexos' patents by making and selling cursor modification games and is also inducing infringement by providing its games to end users, according to Lexos.
