AspenTech Loses Bid To Halt Servicing Of Infringing Software

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 8:16 PM EDT) -- A Texas bankruptcy judge on Wednesday ruled that although software developed by M3 Technology Inc. infringed copyrights held by Aspen Technology Inc., M3 must be allowed to continue servicing its petrochemical clients to avoid a significant disruption to U.S. refining operations.
