Army Corps Beats Challenge To $3B Ind. Highway Project

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 7:14 PM EDT) -- An Indiana federal judge on Tuesday rejected a suit brought by two environmental groups challenging the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' construction of an Interstate 69 extension, ruling that the Corps properly permitted a section of the 142-mile long, $3 billion project and fully considered its environmental impact.
