Omega Misusing Copyright In Costco Case, 9th Circ. Told

Law360, New York (July 27, 2012, 3:06 PM EDT) -- Intellectual property professors on Wednesday urged the Ninth Circuit to dismiss Omega SA's suit accusing Costco Wholesale Corp. of selling its watches without permission, saying the watchmaker is violating trademark law's pro-competition policy by using its copyright to control the importation of its products.
