Law360, New York (July 27, 2012, 6:07 PM ET) -- An Illinois federal judge on Wednesday refused to force Bimbo Foods Bakeries Distribution Inc. to hand over franchise agreements and merger documents in a wage fight with its distributors, saying the expanded document request came too late and wasn't supported by the original claims.
U.S. District Judge Edmond E. Chang denied distributors’ request seeking a court order requiring Bimbo to produce documents related to Bimbo’s $709 million acquisition of Sara Lee, which closed in November, as well as documents pertaining to franchise agreements.
