Judge Lets Ariz. Utility Off Hook In Calif. Blackout Suit

Law360, New York (July 30, 2012, 12:59 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Friday dropped an Arizona electric utility from a class action over a California power outage that caused food in consumers' refrigerators to spoil, but refused to do the same for fellow defendant San Diego Gas & Electric Co.
