Building Owner Claims Amalgamated Violated Easement Rights

Law360, New York (August 2, 2012, 3:06 PM EDT) -- A California company that owns an office building next to Los Angeles International Airport sued Amalgamated Bank and a local construction firm in state court Tuesday for allegedly interfering with an easement for 180 parking spaces at a nearby garage structure.

LAX Enterprise LP claims Amalgamated conspired with RadLAX Gateway Hotel LLC to demolish an existing two-story parking structure at the site, which included the easement, without LAX Enterprise's consent.
