Interstate Gets Time As Teamster Talks Stall

Law360, New York (October 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Interstate Bakeries Corp. has won another month of exclusivity to file its reorganization plan, a request lodged with the bankruptcy court last month after it shelved negotiations with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

The order that Kansas City, Mo. bankruptcy judge Jerry Venters signed Wednesday gives the maker of Wonder Bread and Twinkies another 30 days of exclusivity both to file and to solicit creditors' support.
