Truck Agency Extends Review Of Oil Field Work Hours Rule

Law360, New York (August 6, 2012, 8:58 PM EDT) -- The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on Monday extended a public comment period for a regulatory guidance proposing to end an exemption to a work hour limit for drivers of oil and gas field supply trucks, after a bipartisan group of more than 60 legislators urged the agency to rescind the proposal.
