Ex-Barclays Trader Says She Was Fired For Sex Bias Complaints

Law360, New York (August 06, 2012, 9:34 PM ET) -- A former commodities trader for Barclays Capital Inc. on Thursday hit the international investment bank with a federal gender discrimination suit claiming she was paid less than her male peers and fired when she complained.

In a suit filed in the Southern District of New York, Jennifer Koo, a former vice president in Barclays' Agriculture Sector, alleges the company broke federal and state civil rights laws, as well as state laws against retaliation.
