Prosecutors Say SF Clinics Overbilled Medicaid

Law360, Los Angeles (August 7, 2012, 8:21 PM EDT) -- The U.S. has joined a whistleblower False Claims Act suit against nonprofit community center North East Medical Services Inc., federal prosecutors announced Tuesday, saying the federally and state-licensed chain of medical clinics underreported income to inflate Medicaid reimbursements.
