Japan Seeks More Info On Hitachi's Seiko Nanotech Unit Buy

Law360, New York (August 9, 2012, 6:44 PM EDT) -- Japan's antitrust watchdog has asked Hitachi High-Technologies Corp. for more information about its plan to buy Seiko Instruments Inc.'s nanotechnology unit based on concerns about how the deal will affect competition, the regulator said Thursday.
