Giants, Jets Can't Block $2B NJ Complex Yet, Judge Rules

Law360, New York (August 9, 2012, 4:52 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey state judge on Thursday rejected an effort by New York Jets LLC and New York Football Giants Inc. to block Canadian developer Triple Five Group Ltd.'s plans for a $2 billion entertainment complex, saying their lawsuit was premature.

Triple Five is still negotiating with lenders and is in the process of transferring ownership of the East Rutherford site to co-defendant New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority for the construction of a 3-million-square-foot complex known as American Dream Meadowlands, according to the opinion....
