Lawyers Plead Good Faith In Chevron Sanctions Feud

Law360, New York (October 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a bid to sidestep Chevron Corp.'s request for sanctions, attorneys representing plaintiffs who falsely claimed they developed cancer due to Chevron's alleged illegal dumping of toxic waste in the Ecuadorian rain forest are arguing that they had reasonable basis for filing the claims.
