Goldman, NEA Inject $54M Into Indian Health Care Co.

Law360, New York (August 13, 2012, 1:36 PM EDT) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and New Enterprise Associates have agreed to invest $54 million in Indian healthcare company Nova Medical Centers in support of its specialty surgery and fertility businesses across India and the Middle East, the companies said in a joint statement Monday.

Goldman Sachs' private equity arm has pledged about $40 million, and NEA has said it will add $14 million to the $15 million investment it previously made in the company.
