Man Gets 18 Months For Aiding $200M Medicare Ripoff

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 3:00 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge sentenced a Fort Lauderdale-area man on Monday to 18 months in prison for ripping off Medicare by steering ineligible patients to a mental health center in exchange for kickbacks, the latest punishment meted out to participants in an alleged $200 million fraud ring.
