Lenovo Sued Over 2 Computer Graphics Card Patents

Law360, Washington (August 14, 2012, 6:46 PM EDT) -- A digital home entertainment company slammed computer maker Lenovo Inc. with a suit on Thursday in California federal court, claiming Lenovo's laptops and personal computers contain graphics chips that infringe two of the company's patents.

Rovi Solutions Corp. says Lenovo's ThinkPad laptops and other computers contain GeForce Go, Mobility Radeon or Radeon graphics cards and other computer components that infringe Rovi patents for technology that allows users to play back downloaded content without a license.
