Ad Watchdog Dings Kraft For Lunchables PB&J Spot

Law360, New York (August 15, 2012, 1:52 PM EDT) -- An advertising industry monitor on Tuesday criticized Kraft Foods Inc. for a television commercial in which a boy eats a Lunchables peanut butter and jelly sandwich without touching the more nutritious fruit cup included with the meal.

The Advertising Self-Regulatory Council, an industry body administered by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, asked Kraft to modify the commercial for its Oscar Mayer Lunchables “to better depict the product in the context of a balanced meal,” it said in a statement.
