Sheppard Mullin Hires Yuan Debt Specialist In Beijing

Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 1:06 PM EDT) -- Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP has added a former International Financing Corp. in-house attorney who focuses on cross-border transactions and yuan-denominated bond offerings to its Beijing office, the second partner to join the year-old outpost, the firm said Thursday.

Simon Kai-Tse Cheong spent four years as senior counsel at the IFC, the financing arm of the World Bank.
