Eli Lilly Adds Warning Labels To Zyprexa

Law360, New York (October 09, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Drug maker Eli Lilly and Co. has decided to put stronger product labels on its blockbuster antipsychotic treatment Zyprexa, adding new warnings about the potential for weight gain and elevated blood sugar or cholesterol levels.

Zyprexa, the brand name version of olanzapine, is an atypical anti-psychotic prescription medication used to treat symptoms of various psychiatric conditions, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
