Chinese Dolly Cos. Protest Commerce's Duties Ruling

Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 7:01 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's determination last month to levy anti-dumping duties on hand trucks exported from China was challenged Wednesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade by both a manufacturer and an importer of the merchandise.

New-Tec Integration (Xiamen) Co. Ltd. and Cosco Home & Office Products opposed Commerce's July final determination assessing tariffs on Chinese dollies, commencing separate civil actions against the government for Commerce's order upholding an ongoing set of duties against the hand trucks.
