Ex-GSA Manager Charged With Blocking Contracting Probe

Law360, New York (August 17, 2012, 8:41 PM EDT) -- A former property manager for the U.S. General Services Administration was arrested Thursday on charges that he tried to block an internal investigation into claims that he retaliated against a maintenance contractor after one of the contractor's employees broke off a personal relationship with him.

In a three-count indictment in Nevada's federal court, Steven M. Underhill, 57, of Las Vegas was charged with providing false statements to the GSA inspector general and attempting to intimidate a witness in a federal investigation.
