Fight Over Chiropractor Rules Reaches Texas High Court

Law360, Dallas (August 21, 2012, 8:47 PM EDT) -- A six-year fight between Texas doctors and chiropractors is now before the state's Supreme Court, as the Texas Medical Association fights to prevent chiropractors from being allowed to diagnose patients.

The TMA filed a petition for review with the court Aug. 15, asking it to overturn an appellate court decision that OK’d an administrative rule allowing diagnosis and refusing on procedural grounds to consider an alternate argument the doctors raised to try to invalidate the rule.
