DOE Manager's Hiring Efforts Didn't Break Rules: Report

Law360, New York (August 22, 2012, 9:41 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Energy's inspector general has found that a Office of Nuclear Energy manager did not violate procurement guidelines when twice recommending a contractor employee for other work, but noted that the agency's contractor-heavy workforce often caused it to grapple with apparent conflicts of interest.
