Haynes And Boone At Fault For Late Filing, Witness Says

Law360, Houston (August 22, 2012, 9:03 PM EDT) -- Haynes and Boone LLP neglected its duty to timely file an antitrust suit on behalf of a failed Internet pharmacy, the former chairman of the Texas Bar's Board of Disciplinary Appeals told jurors Wednesday in the firm's malpractice trial.

Thomas H. Watkins of Brown McCarroll LLP said that Haynes and Boone partner Patrick Hughes had no reasonable excuse for not filing an antitrust suit Rx.com founder Joe Rosson wanted to pursue against pharmacy benefits managers, before a four-year statute of limitations expired.
