Fed. Circ. Urged To Resolve Simmering Abstract Patent Debate

Law360, New York (August 23, 2012, 8:25 PM ET) -- Two companies asked the full Federal Circuit on Wednesday to issue conclusive guidance on when abstract concepts implemented on a computer become eligible for a patent, a request attorneys said could resolve a contentious issue that has bedeviled the court in recent months.
